Truly Amazing Thailand

Asian countries are known worldwide because of their people's love for their culture and tradition. When I visited Thailand, I was amazed by the country and the people itself. Temples are everywhere. A symbol of Thailand's very rich history and culture.  Very sweet mouth-watering tamarind as one of their main products. It's available every where. Never miss tasting Thailand's tamarind! Apart from the vegetarian diet they will provide, taste something different from Thailand. There are a lot of food choices to choose from and will surely delight your stomach needs! Thailand is famous because of Elephants. Visit Dream world and never miss the scary yet fun elephant ride. I will never forget my experience there.  River cruise is exciting in Thailand. Enjoy the waters, the sceneries, and buy fresh fruits from the floating market. Experience feeding huge catfish too! If you are a collector or an enthusiast of cheap items, alot is available in Th

Flower Garlands

Flower garland sellers are common in the Philippines. Quezon City, Philippines is one of the largest cities in the country. With the vast and rapid changes, the undeniable fact of poverty still exists. I stayed for about a year in Quezon City for my medical licensure examination review classes. I was in Fairview and my stay was indeed memorable. I met people and made friends with them. Somehow, they touched my life and they will always be cherished. These are my classmates! The background is Pearl Drive and it's where the little girls stay and sell garlands. :) Everytime I pass by Pearl Drive in Fairview, two little street girls ran after me to sell flower garlands. They have been doing that for a long time already and they have no choice because the little amount they gain from it will be spent for their classes the next day. The little girls never knew my name that time so, they do call me "sir bente-bente" (sir 20-20). That was cute! Hehe. Twenty, for

The Happy Kid Within

My collections. A 21 - year journey of being kid at heart. 21 years and counting. At last! I'm done. I spent half of my day with them. Checking them one by one is stressful yet fulfilling. Everyone has a kid in itself. We have wants and when fulfilled, we get the joy in the deepest of our hearts. Like what I feel right now, I couldn't believe that I can take care of them for almost 21 years and I am always excited to welcome more members of my toy family. If I will have my calories checked from the very first toy I got, I would have the highest caloric count among others. I will never lose the title - the "Walking Calorie". Haha. Thanks for bringing McDonalds in my life. Haha. I wouldn't be very happy without these tiny pieces.  "Happiness comes within us and those that surround us."

Fulfilling a Bucketlist: Wanted Artist

"Arte sa Kalye" and "Collective Effervescence" displays. The uniqueness of every individual is blessed with talents and skills. A gift from God that one must be thankful of. In a week, I got 3 invitations for an Art Show and I couldn't help but to express my excitement and thought of pursuing my passion for it. Are these signs...? My own masterpieces and I am dreaming to be known as the Shoe master. Hahahaha. :) I may not have an ample time to make my projects due to career related reasons but I promise to launch my own art show soon. Thanks to all my friends for the encouragement. When I have nothing to do, I spend my time with colored pastels. Hehehe. :) "Fulfill your dreams. Never give up. Accept every challenge."

On Her 63rd

My nanay (mom) isn't fond of celebrating her birthday with a planned party nor we, her children didn't think of preparing such for her. Recalling her birthday celebrations, she used to cook for us for a simple dinner. No cakes, no flowers, just a plain dinner for the whole family but yesterday, August 14, 2015 was a date to remember for all of us because for the very first time, we prepared a birthday surprise for her. Nanay's memorable 63rd birthday. Thanks to Ronalyn, my brother's girlfriend for being hands on for the surprise party for nanay. The mastermind... :) We booked in my parent's favorite restaurant in Iloilo City, Philippines named Summer House in Midtown Hotel located in Calle Real de Iloilo. Part of the menu was Nanay's favorite "bihon tostado", a must try from the said restaurant. Nanay only knew that they'll only fetch me after my work and will just dine out somewhere but here what was waiting for her. Party

One Night In Boracay

Travelling unplanned is fun. The white sand and the blue sky of the Island of Boracay. That was friday afternoon when I decided to visit Boracay unplanned. It is a 5-hour van ride or a 6-hour bus ride from Iloilo Tagbak Terminal in Jaro, Iloilo City. Right after work, I rushed to the terminal for the day's last trip van schedule. For about 200+ pesos, I had a zigzag road experience but it was really fun-filled! We left Iloilo at around 6pm and arrived in Aklan at around 10 in the evening. I road the pumped boat going to the Island. The water was calm and to my surprise, a lot of tourists were still around that time. In the island, I immediately looked for an inn to stay and that was a real struggle since almost all hotels were fully booked. Luckily, I found a very cheap hotel located beach front so I didn't loose the opportunity for it was difficult to get one for an on the spot overnight stay. What to expect in La Boracay? A pumped boat ride awaits you. Thi
