The Cat Man

The hungry cats fed by a street man. The are times when all we want in life is to live in a free city. A place where no body cares on what you do. A place where everyone feels happy no matter what. When I passed by this street of Iloilo City, Philippines yesterday, there was this man who might be of unsound mind but did something very heartwarming! I saw him twice on the same spot and does the same routine. I tried observing him and I was pretty amazed by what he was doing. After a day of gathering all those trash, scraps and food from kind hearted individuals, he sat beside the waiting shed and shared some of the pieces he got to these poor little mammals. His family in the streets are these playful cats and he really enjoyed seeing them eating. I couldn't imagine what this man has on mind during those times. Does he think about the recently concluded SONA of P-noy? Does he think of his parents, if where they are right now? Does he think of what others might say or th

Part 3 - Pacquiao Country: Road to Forever

Everyone dreams of a love story that will last forever. Moreover, It is every lady's dream to meet her most awaited prince charming and a man's wish for a princess whom he shall live with happily ever after. :) My last day at General Santos City was a day of love, excitement, and a start of a wonderful love story for my dear friends Krysh and Ian/IJ. Like other love teams, they call theirs as KRYSHIAN! Krysh was my med classmate and we witnessed a winding road in her search of her most awaited love story. Yes, everyone has their own stories to tell and now, is another story to celebrate love and life. <3 I knew IJ since 2014 and I really admire him for his determination and persistence... hahaha. ;) I was once an accomplice in his birthday surprise for Krysh. And one of the few people who knew about his proposal plans for krysh! Thanks IJ for the trust. :) The Proposal Ring. :) Then she said, "YES"... and after the long wait, the

Part 2 - Pacquiao Country: Gen San at its Best!

My day began with a BIG smile and a positive vibe! The hotel serves breakfast for free! Good enough for a very affordable rate. I even didn't bother to have two spoons that time. Kutsara't kutsara. Saranggani Highlands was in my itinerary and I rented a cab for my transportation. Meet Manong Taxi Driver :) The travel lasted for about 30 - 40 minutes and it was a fun ride with Manong. He gave me some inputs about the Province and I learned a lot. From the highway, we passed by a hilly and rough road  leading to the Highlands. For a hundred pesos worth of any products they're selling, you can already enjoy the amenities. The view was breathtaking! It's a place where the meeting of the land, sea and sky is at its best. I spent an hour for my Highland tour and thereafter, we went down the city. We passed by the Fish Port, Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao's old house, their Convenient store managed by Jinky Pacquiao's twin and of course

Part1 - Pacquiao Country: The Adventure Begins

The main reason of my travel is to witness my dear friends' wedding. I felt lucky to be part of it since the venue is none other than, THE TUNA CAPITAL OF THE PHILIPPINES - GENERAL SANTOS CITY. A month prior the most awaited date, I booked in advance a back and forth ticket at its PROMO rate at around 3000+ PhP. A dream come true for me for I'm in Gen San now and is excited to explore the City. Preparation before a travel is a must. "What to bring list" is very helpful. Tickets, personal belongings, itinerary list and enough pocket money must be inside your backpacks! Haha... :) While waiting for my departure time at Iloilo International Airport, I met Dra. Gonzales (Arnold's mom - Arn was my med classmate) and this lovely couple. April and Tamsi were my college friends. They are on a tour and I wish them a super fun-filled time and experiences. I was with Apple (Med classmate) and her mom on the plane and at around 2pm we left Iloil

The Lambunao Adventure: Victorious Journey

Meet the research team: Jucee, Me, Yen and Lyn. 2011 was a great year for our school and for us - pipz dreaming for a medical license (which is now a reality). Meet our recruits: John and Bryan. We finished in a Medical School in Iloilo City, Philippines last 2013 and upon browsing my old files I saw these pictures which will always be considered worthy to keep and worthy to share. Well, anyway I am talking of a national research contest for medical colleges in the Philippines that we joined few years back but I will not delve deeper on it. I would like to share our experiences during our data gathering. Our goal was to climb a MOUNTAIN in Brgy. Cabatangan, Lambunao, Iloilo which required as more than enough energy stores, determination, trust and prayers to finish and end with flying colors our 2-DAY adventure. The climb wasn't that easy. We got some special permits from the local government and communicated with the municipal health and Barangay officials fo
