One fine sunny Sunday morning turned into a memorable day for us - me, Yen, Jucee and Kevin.
Wonderful sunny morning - best time to conquer the island. |
Against the light. What's important is the background. Hehe. :) |
The pump boat ride was fun and smooth sailing. Our trip was blessed for it did not rain, hassle free and what we felt was all excitement. The boat can be rented from 700+ or more and will assist you back and forth Culasi town. We brought some breakfast meals for our lunch and thanks to Kevin for that!

Malalison Island, Province of Antique |
Touch down. |
The white sand and the clear cold waters were very inviting that time and to go there after summer is a good idea. Haha... We owned the Island until... look who I met! My elementary and college friends. :)
Sim and Leomel were my elementary classmates while Cherry was my college classmate. |
That was really surprising! I and Cherry was planning before hand to explore the Island with our very dear friend, Kenneth Joy. Hehe. And due to some unexpected events, we didn't able to pursue the plan but look, it's still God's perfect timing.
Malalison is a paradise. The people really did their part in taking good care of this wonderful place. We paid an environmental fee and requested a tour guide for the hiking.
Groufie with the tour guide as we ready ourselves to explore more about the Island. (Our tour guide was wearing a head band... JOKE! That's Yen!) |
We did the treks and as we hurdled the trails, we met somethings that we didn't expect to exist there.
Malalison has "Lomboy" Tree. |
Malalison has goats and a handsome caretaker. |
Malalison has Pitcher plants. |
Malalison has cave and a cave man. |
Malalison has Pine trees too. |
Malalison has a golf course... I mean an Island within the Island. |
Malalison has foreign friends. I am a friend too. Haha. :) |
Malalison has jack stones. |
Swimming was fun at Malalison and you will never regret. Unfortunately, we were not able to take pictures while swimming because of our "dad" bods... Just kidding... the truth is, we don't have waterproof cameras which is a must bring!
What I hope and pray now is that someday, the beauty and the richness of this Island will be preserved and that human beings will never exploit this wonderful gift from God.
We ended our tour by eating our breakfast meals in a lunch time.
Come visit the Island.
Come and responsibly visit the Island.
