The Coffee Makers

Happy Mornings with coffee @'L Fisher Hotel, Bacolod City, Philippines.

This one's pretty cool. Pressed coffee @Dova Brunch Cafe, Lapaz, Iloilo City, Philippines.

Some people are just so lucky to have parents that can send them to school.

I visited one of my favorite coffee shops yesterday and thought about some things that exist in the society. I remembered how we spent most of our times in that cafe burning our midnight candles. I also recalled the staff and crew we met their who were able to witness us growing.

When I was drinking my favorite coffee,  they caught my attention. Today, I have 2 professional licenses and I thought of how lucky I am to have those. I am wondering right now what runs into their minds. Are they happy for us for what we have achieved? Are they planning to seek more educational opportunities, but unfortunately most of them can't? Are they fulfilled of what they have right now?

Yes, we cannot have everything in life. Some goes up, down, or some remains just the same. However, that doesn't really matter. Seriously... as long as you live a life that makes you happy, so be it. We are all still blessed. The opportunities doesn't stop coming and when it rains, it pours. :) Embrace every life's event and its all up to us on how we deal with it. :)

Part 2 - Hidden Treasures of Antique: Malalison Island

One fine sunny Sunday morning turned into a memorable day for us - me, Yen, Jucee and Kevin. Wonderful sunny morning - best time to conquer the island. Against the light. What's important is the background. Hehe. :) The pump boat ride was fun and smooth sailing. Our trip was blessed for it did not rain, hassle free and what we felt was all excitement. The boat can be rented from 700+ or more and will assist you back and forth Culasi town. We brought some breakfast meals for our lunch and thanks to Kevin for that! Malalison Island, Province of Antique Touch down. The white sand and the clear cold waters were very inviting that time and to go there after summer is a good idea. Haha... We owned the Island until... look who I met! My elementary and college friends. :) Sim and Leomel were my elementary classmates while Cherry was my college classmate. That was really surprising! I and Cherry was planning before hand to explore the Island with our very dear frie...

The Lambunao Adventure: Victorious Journey

Meet the research team: Jucee, Me, Yen and Lyn. 2011 was a great year for our school and for us - pipz dreaming for a medical license (which is now a reality). Meet our recruits: John and Bryan. We finished in a Medical School in Iloilo City, Philippines last 2013 and upon browsing my old files I saw these pictures which will always be considered worthy to keep and worthy to share. Well, anyway I am talking of a national research contest for medical colleges in the Philippines that we joined few years back but I will not delve deeper on it. I would like to share our experiences during our data gathering. Our goal was to climb a MOUNTAIN in Brgy. Cabatangan, Lambunao, Iloilo which required as more than enough energy stores, determination, trust and prayers to finish and end with flying colors our 2-DAY adventure. The climb wasn't that easy. We got some special permits from the local government and communicated with the municipal health and Barangay officials fo...
