Blessed by Strangers

That was the day before my birthday. I went to my fave spot in the supermarket where I can buy something to munch on.

That day was one memorable moment. While finishing my favorite "turon na saging" there came this couple eating "lumpia". They're been married for a long time already with successful children working here and abroad. Despite their status they remained down to earth. Not even wearing a single jewelry. But when I started talking to them, I was amazed by their humble beginnings and how they were able to achieve what they have right now. They shared their story, their hardships and how they handled life is something worthy of hearing.

Thanks for the words of wisdom and for letting me open my eyes to embrace the natural process one should undergo through life. Thanks also for reminding me the value of humility, love and patience.

Until we meet again sir and ma'am. God bless your trip and your family. :)

One fine sunny Sunday morning turned into a memorable day for us - me, Yen, Jucee and Kevin. Wonderful sunny morning - best time to conquer the island. Against the light.
